Simon Ward is our Academy director.

Simon has been directing clubs, coaching teams and training staff in soccer for over 25 years.

Simon is highly qualified in both soccer and early year’s education. Anyone who has participated in any of his camps and classes will know they are innovative, informative and the most exciting soccer environment you will find.

He has a résumé that varies from special education and preschool teaching to Scottish University coach of the year. When he left the UK, he was the head coach of the Scottish University Champions.

With these experiences and everything in between, Simon’s SCOTTISH SOCCER ACADEMY will provide every individual or team, any age and any level, the chance to reach their highest potential.

Simon has coached at extremely high levels and has revolutionized grass roots soccer in many ways.

When Simon is not coaching/watching/playing/talking about soccer he likes to play golf. SIMON IS A CERTIFIED YOGA TEACHER AND HAS BEEN TEACHING YOGA FOR 6 YEARS SINCE COMPLETING THE 200 - HOUR LIFEPOWER YOGA TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

Simon is a fan of his home team Ayr United Football Club and his favorite player is Henrik Larsson.

‘Pato’ is a young enthusiastic sports coach who currently competes at the highest level of multiple sports. His crazy fun personality is infectious and he makes sure every player is comfortable and having fun.

‘Miss Amy’ to many is a former collegiate athlete and has taught Special Education for 20 years. Since being the captain of her University team, Amy has coached soccer in various capacities. She is currently the girl’s director of an established soccer program in Illinois.
