Dear Soccer Families,

As we celebrate the 15th anniversary of Scottish Soccer Academy, I find myself filled with gratitude, pride, and so many incredible memories.

Over the past fifteen years, we have had truly special teams, players, coaches, and families pass through our academy. Thousands of young players have come through our programs in one way or another, and every single one has left a mark on our story. The amazing times we’ve shared on the field, on the sidelines, and within our community, are what have made this journey so meaningful.

We began 15 years ago with a very special team and parent group, and you all know who you are. You believed in this concept from the very beginning. You supported it, encouraged it, and got behind me and everyone involved. Without that early belief and commitment, Scottish Soccer Academy would not be what it is today.

One of the absolute joys of my life has been our U5–U7 program. It is truly part of me. I am so incredibly proud of every family who has committed to making Saturday mornings fun, energetic, and exciting for our youngest players. The laughter, the smiles, the growth, those moments mean everything.

It is incredible to think that come May 2026, it will be the 15th time the bagpipes will march our players forward to be greeted by amazing parents and to collect their well-earned trophies. That tradition alone represents the heart of who we are. Pride, celebration, community, and joy.

As we celebrate 15 years, we also look forward to the next 15. The future is bright because of the families who continue to believe in what we are building together.

I would absolutely love to hear your memories and stories from over the years. If you have a favorite moment, a photograph, or something special you’d like to share, please send it along. These stories are the heartbeat of our academy.

Thank you for your trust, your support, and for being part of this journey.

With sincere appreciation,
Simon Ward
